CORONAVIRUS IN KURDISTAN: EMERGENCY APPEAL
STEP-IN NEEDS YOUR HELP:
Over 300,000 displaced people are living in camps in Iraqi Kurdistan.
Restrictions on movement in and out of the camps mean that vulnerable people are living with ZERO access to essential medications. An enforced reduction in the hours and services of medical facilities mean even those living outside of camps are struggling to access the treatments they need.
WITH YOUR SUPPORT WE COULD:
– Hand-deliver chronic medications to vulnerable people stuck in quarantine.
– Restock our medicine supply to protect those most at-risk.
– Provide ongoing care to refugees and displaced people where most other services have been shut down.
– Monitor coronavirus in our camps and prepare for the incoming pandemic.
